I don't see what I said to crack you up, Frenchy, since I don't see any points I made about the P-47's abilities, only my experience in my own plane (the p51) versus this plane.Didn't want to offend you Darling, I'm cracked up because most people say :"blahblah P47, eat alive blahblah" ... till they end up meeting a 56th veteran pilot and got shot down. Then they start to yell at you of all kind of names from cheater to wizzard passing by Salute.
But I agree with you though on the P51, it's a better plane than the D30. I could judge that versus a fight with
Thunder who started at 25k and ended up just before I ran out of fuel.
It's always the same song Darling, no plane is easy meet when you find someone who knows how to fly it properly. Check my stats (too lazy to do it), I eat a lot of Ponies too, but from time to time I meet one guy who knows what's he doing and end up having a sweety fight.
Most of the time, when not in a furball I turnfight all the way to the deck if needed. Most of my deths are a results of an aircraft joining the fight and me still being low/slow. And as you known, in a P47, below 160 IAS, 1000ft, anything does anything better with more E

But that's what I love, so the heck with it.
