Lindberg "Pearl Harbor" diorama.

Contains two ships: USS Nevada and USS Arizona, six acrylic paints, and a plastic seascape diorama base; bonus feature is a booklet describing the attack.

Each ship measures out to around 8 inches or so, but its hard to tell how detailed each one is.  I'm sure its not up to Tamiya standards but I'm hoping the Lindberg kits might be scratch-built up into something fairly decent.

I'm getting it from http://www.modelexpo-online.com/ema074 for $5 so I figure I can't go wrong at that price but I hate to pay for shipping and have it be too toy-like.

What about the Heller kit of the "Le Redoutable"?  I can get that one from Model Expo for $1.87 and it includes 4 acrylic paints.  I was thinking of turning into a shadow-box of an underwater scene.

One thing is for sure, if it was Tamiya making the kit, they couldn't title it 'Great Moments In History'.  :D

Several, but use it with a game called General Quarters.
