Funny, ah well, must be Clinton's fault as well.

Clinton is more responsible for this mess than is the current administration.  Had they not allowed the terrorists free reign, we would not be in this mess to begin with, that and the failure of the UN to do a damn thing to Sadaam.  As for conceding that point to him?  I am not conceding a damn thing.  I corrected his mistake and further pointed out that it was us that supplied tech to make the gas (mustard and one other) to fight the Iranians so the Iranians did not overrun the entire nation of Iraq.  They on their own with the help of OTHER nations developed Sarin, VX, Clep B, nuke tech, long range rockets, and a host of biological threats that make one shudder at the thought. The US should NEVER have provided any gas tech to Iraq, and we should be ashamed for having done so.  The rest of the others should be MORE ashamed for helping him too develop WMD's of a more serious threat.  Topping it all off, we should ALL be ashamed for allowing this threat to continue unabated for so long.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

You're very misinformed Bhodi and that's being kind.

Firstly, the US egged-on Saddam to attack Iran, to the extent that a CIA ofice was opened in Baghdad for the very purpose of encouraging a war. The US even supplied intel used by Saddam to target certain gas attacks.

Secondly, to blame Clinton for the "intelligence failures" that the Bush-ites are now claiming as their rationalisation for the invasion in the absence of WMD is pure fantasy. The pre-invasion hype regarding WMD was almost exclusively controlled by Rumsfelds Office of Special Projects at the Pentagon.

So, only those in the armed forces can be called "real" American? I don't know you wel enough to like or dislike you, but your politics aren't anything I am fond of.

I was right there advocating his overthrow then, as was most of our state department and the military.  Where were you?

Same place I am now. Being inaccurately and unfairly called a wacko, liberal pacifist that's unpatriotic for not towing the Adminstration line. I don't recall seeing you there...

I stand corrected, since we gave them minimal WND I guess it was no big deal. But if it, by your assertion, no big deal, then why were you so outraged?
