Last night TheBug called me a whiner.  Sad thing is, he was probably right.

The incongruity of it all, though, cautions me to just keep my mouth shut for awhile.

I hear ya. I generally log back on after I get a disco - even if it's to say bye. Last night - saw no point. ;)

Oh well. Maybe I'll try ... once again ... to promote nightly missions in the CT. I think the RISK mentality comes from either MA habits or boredom.

When its 25-28 vs 8-10 (which is was most of the night) and you're getting gangbanged and vulched you're allowed to do a little whining IMO. Right after you left Oldman, I pointed out to Bug that its really easy to call someone a whiner when you are on the 30 side of a 30 v 10. To his great credit, he (and regretably he alone) promptly switched to axis so Bug gets a big from me.

I know some squads are allied, but ask yourself this, is it fun gangnbanging and vulching with 3-1 odds? Or is it more fun to fight a close battle where great effort and teamwork carries the day not a horde?

As I told Bug, what I do is politely ask that some players switch to even things up a bit. If some do thats great, if they dont, oh well just keep fighting.

Id rather not say because I think they had a new squad night on sunday, possibly because of my request earlier in the week to spread out the allied squad nights so there arent 3-5 allied squads running on the same night.

It was the non-squad allied guys that I'm really dissapointed in, and there were quite a few. If most, not even all, the non-squad aligned guys had switched to axis it would have been much more even, more like normal in the 20-22 vs 15-17 range which is just fine IMO. For some reason last night there was blood in the water and a feeding frenzy comenced and it stayed 25-28 to 8-10 most the night.

no he's not, he's trying to use the leverage of his account to force HT to put night back in.

lol

Of course .. the odds are ... pretty darn slim.

If it works, though, I'll use the same tactic to get the SCW planeset modeled and a server dedicated.
