WWI Trench coming along
« on: March 18, 2004, 04:45:01 PM »
The Museum of Flight in Seattle(where I work)is moving right along with their displays for their WWI aircraft. This shot is taken from the floor looking up at a Sopwith Camel. The crashed German plane(which is a mockup)is a Fokker D-8. The photo isn't the greatest because of the glare from the ceiling lights, but hopefully you can get an idea of what it's going to look like. For those able to visit the museum, the new fighter wing's grand opening is June 6th coming up. The displays are going to be outstanding and there's nothing like it that I know of as far as air museums go.
