wow!  What were you saying was wrong with it?  The panel lines seriously look great.  I see nothing wrong with that at all!

i mentioned doing the dots with Photoshop

Octavius .... i've mentioned the making of the dots (bolts) and thin lines (0.35 px) with Photoshop. With Photoshop you can make them, but as Fester said in a indirect way.

So is used Adobe Illusttrator to make a layer over the skin, with think 0.36 pixel lines and 0.5 pixel dots. This layer i saved in a EPS format and uses in Photoshop as the top level layer. My impression was, that i got a better result by using Illustrator and Photoshop in combination.

Another tricky issue is the correct saving procedure to avoid a loss of image quality. But thats another story.

salut, airmess

Panel Lines fixed
« Reply #7 on: March 22, 2004, 06:19:52 AM »
I've fixed the panel lines like mentioned. It depends on what book and template you look at, and you'll find different views of those panellines. I think it's pretty acurate now.

There are also a pair of quite good tutorials on using Paint Shop Pro for skinning and making rivets and panel lines:
