oct... from my home town.

why may i ask are you so anti-religion?

was milwaukee that bad to you?

was somone that bad to you?

did you parents raise you to deny God?

im curious as to the background bro. Milwaukee is a pretty conservative city in most areas, and very "catholic" for lack of a better word.

if you were raised in faith, what pushed you away? and why?

if you were not, why question and insult what you do not know?

just some serious questions. (im not going to hunt you down and bring a bible or something).
I don't know what to put here yet.

What in this thread made you believe he was "so anti-religion"?  'Cause he was amused by a silly flash movie, or because he followed up a reference to The Big Lebowski?  I don't get it.

Comedy gold, actually this threat more then a movie itself.

As for reference to Big Lebowski... classic, timeless classic.

Where did I write that?

My statement is in relation to your recent post history, which as far as I can tell, can basically be summed up by what I wrote.

Can you tell me where it is stated that it isn't okay to make fun of other religions?  It is explicitely stated in your religion that it's not okay to make fun of other people's religion.  Sounds like PC crap to me.

I think that I can and will make fun of whatever I want, whenever I want, to whomever I want, about whyever I want.

Honestly, that was just a very stupid thing to say.   You can't make fun of me or them because I say so.  You sound like a fundementalist muslim.  Why don't you declare jihad and go blow something up to prove that you are right and you are the sons of god or some equally stupid tripe.

To a good many people in the world the man that little thing made fun of is the most important thing to them.
Again, that sounds like 'touchy-feely' PC rhetoric.

The burnging question to me is:  So ****ing What?  Also known as SFW?  Just because people believe that Elvis still exists doesn't prove it as fact.  Just because someone dismisses a belief does it mean that the believe is also dimished in some fashion?  Do the faithfull somehow suffer other's lack of faith?  Does this mean that Howard Stern really isn't the King of the Airwaves?

Personally, I think every religion (major and minor) needs to take a really, really big breath and (after releasing that breath) consider the following:  What if I'm not the real religion?  Considering how many religions are out there, chances are you are not the one real religion.  Just a thought.  Don't declare jihad on me.

It is pretty much like calling your mother a potato.
What if my mother is a potato.  Are you making fun of potatos?  Are you making fun of my mother?  I'll kill you and your infidel religion that descrimates againsts mothers and mothers that are potatos!!!  Death to the non-believers!!!

Quote
Who are you to tell people who want to believe in something that their priororities are wrong?
As I said before, I can say what I want, when I want, to whom I want, about what I want, and for the purpose of why I want.  That is my opinion.  If you don't think my opinion is worth a pillar of salt then I suggest you dismiss it.

A note for Christians:  Keep in mind just who are what you are.  Especially what denominations you are.  Also keep in mind just what the differences between the different dominations of Christians that exists.  Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, et al.

Funny how all believe in the same God but can't all agree on how to worship him.

This leads me to this final statement:  How can anyone be completely confident that their religion is the correct religion, ie Christian, Muslim, Buddhists, Aetheists, et al?

What if Sheep Lover is the right one and everyone else is wrong???

Obviously that was GOD's message that the young man felt.  A message from God that he should repent and save his soul.

It's obvious because he was the ONLY man who committed a murder in the entire civilized world that had shown 'The Passion' and had also shown remorse.  Obvious.

The young man in question was a fan of CSI and learned from the show how to fake a hanging.  Nothing special here.

The truly sad part is that he killed his girlfriend because she was pregnant with their[/b] child.

The simple fact that he chose to kill her because she was pregnant shows that he wasn't "right" in the mind to begin with since he had more than a "hand" in the pregnancy ...wasn't he equally to blame?  Perhaps he should have died also?  Or is that too much to ask for sinners?

Obviously, the man had mental issues before he saw the movie and the simple fact that he felt guilty was intensified by the movie.

Side Note:
People in the 1700's also felt that the violin was the "devil's instrument" because it caused such a forthcoming of emtions from those who listened that the masses actually burned many violinists simply because they felt their souls were in temptation.

Funny thing people will do when they feel that their religion is in question.  Salem witch trails anyone?

I supposed Christians will hail this as the power of Christ.  I suppose Muslims will equally hail this as the corruption of Christianity and the exaltdeness of Alah.

Strange.
