My 2 cents:

1) Taking advantage of a bug is a dweeb thing to do.  Complete loss of respect follows.

2) It stopped being a Beta to alot of people when they started paying, and scores are kept.

3) Asking HTC to delete the thread so nobody else hears about your actions confirms that you know it was dweeb.

 To say "I did it for this reason, or I did it for that reason", or "I just wanted to see what would happen"....is the most lame arnold thing Ive ever heard. We all know whats right, we all know whats wrong. If you want to CHEAT OR EXPLOIT BUGS, PLEASE PLAY NINTENDO or such other passtimes.Or one of the thousands of CD-ROM-on line games that have been ruined with web-pages  full of cheats. Anyone who honestly derives pleasure from a misbegotten victory, has ,not only my sympothy, but my condolances as well.
