Flight training
« on: December 26, 1999, 09:59:00 AM »
Are there any plans to have a training system similar to what was found in Warbirds?  I have some squadies coming over from a different flight sim (WWI) with a flight model that wasn't as difficult to master.  They could definately use some pointers on proper joystick calibration and use of trim.

I pretty much just make it up as I go, so I won't be of much use to them.

Any links to sights that discuss this would be apreciated... or info on how to hook up with someone that is willing to take the time to show someone these things.

Thanks in advance,

AK, I'm no master of ACM, but I am always glad to help a new guy stick the needle in... err get the hang of a new sim.

Look for me in the area or better yet, just have 'em e-mail me and set up a time.

Yes, we will set up a training program.  We also plan to make available a series of training films for download.  We'll also set up a message board topic for advice and questions.  I'll probably do the latter tomorrow.
