LOL they are all trying to make money. Exactly what the christians are doing. Trying to get more people to go to their perticular church in order to get more money. Why else would they ask for donations on their TV programs that already make money via commercials. They belittle their religion by stooping to common corprate markeing scheme's.

SOB, I almost cried reading that, I was laughing so hard.

I wonder if the Buddy Christ makes an appearance on the Christmobile? On the trunk or something.

*pic of Buddy Christ saying "God thinks you're cool for letting me pass you."*

The US Army is trying to make money?

Religious marketing schemes predate corporate marketing schemes by millenia.  I think you are getting the originator of the idea mixed up with the follower.  Since the dawn of man religions have marketed themselves to grow and win converts and many (of course not all) have believed that they are doing the right thing with little thought of personal gain.

Religious organizations have had missions to 'spread the word' and in order to do that donations have traditionally been accepted.  Many religious followers have taken (and lived with) vows of poverty.

I think you paint with a broad brush... Mother Teresa did  not own a Mercedes...

So they are tax exempt to sponser race cars, interesting.

It's my guess that the money Budweiser spends on racing is tax exempt in some fashion as it is the business expense of advertising.

Yeah, she was always known as saying "Mercedes are for classless avacados".  Teresa was a Jaguar woman all the way.

I think Frogm4n is gay, feeling guilty about it due to religion, feeling abused because he's the beoitch for the FDB's, and is turning his anger towards religion for making him feel guilty and/or willing to be abused by the FDB's.

This, of course, is just a hypothesis.

My other hypothesis is that Frogm4n is a super advanced cybord sent from the future to kill the mother of his maker because of his guilt derived from religion and his homosexualness.

I have another hypothesis...but I'll save it for another time.
