F4U-1C funkiness

The F4U-1C doesn't seem to pick up any power until you reach exactly 197 knots and increase to about 220 knots.  

Fly for yourself.  The guages read full manifold pressure, RPM reads 2800, however, it *sounds* like 1800 rpm and decreased manifold.

While reading the E6B, I heard and "felt" an increase in RPM in the 'transition' speeds of 197-220 knots.  

Two others also confirmed the chog weirdness while online a few minutes ago.
