This has been reported before but not by me:
Damaged landing gear is still visible in the external view. However, the strut is not there.
I tried to land on a nearby CV. The left wheel touched the deck... all good so far... I was slowing down and the right wing was coming down... still looking good. The right wing touched the deck... still going well... what the?! I fell through the deck and hit the water inside the CV. Splat.
