Does "sticking your head up" make a PK easier?

I just LOVE the view system!  But what would be REAL cool, is if you could "scruntch down" behind the pilot armour to reduce PK potential, and when you stick your mellon around the seat, increase the chance of a PK.

Hahahahahah... I'm more worried about keeping my butt in the air than ducking down behind some pilot armor.    But hey - if you wanna stick your noggin up and lemme take a pot shot at it, I'm game!
