Morpheus bug on B-17
« on: April 05, 2004, 04:04:06 PM »
launched a Vic of 17's then belly landed. I slowed to 20-25 mph and just kept skidding at 20-25 mph. I thought I was going to hit a house but deflected off some bushes. Then went down a gentle slope and continued to skid at 20 mph. This went on for about 10 minutes until I came to a grove of trees. I hit a tree and finally died, returning to tower.

2nd test. Augered at a small angle to ground, bounced. All 4 engines quit with the props wrapped around the cowling. Then flew for 5 minutes climbing and turning as if no damaged occurred.

Morpheus put me onto this hilarious entertainment.
:lol
I thought I was important until I got Cancer and had to go to a cancer clinic.

Waitaminute

I dunno if i understand you right on this one.

What I found was that if you augerd your lead bomber fast enough to save the other 2, they showed dammaged from the lead bomber hitting the ground.

Like engines not turning but reading full manifold presure, full rpms. Was weird when I first saw this. I thought the B17 just glided really far or something but realized that the engines were still running on the instrument pannel.
