Two boys are playing hockey on a pond in Denver when suddenly one is attacked by a rabid rottweiller. Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his hockey stick and shoves it under the dogs collar. Twisting the stick, he breaks the dog's neck, saving his friend's life.
A reporter, who was strolling by, sees the incident and rushes over to interview the young hero.
Young Avalanche Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal Attack he starts to write in his notebook.
"But I'm not an Avalanche fan", the little hero protested.
"Sorry, since we are in Denver, I just assumed you were" said the reporter as he starts to write again.
Broncos Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack the reporter writes furiously.
"I'm not a Broncos fan, either." the boy said quietly.
"Oh, I assumed everyone in Denver was either for the Avalanche or the Broncos. What team do you root for?" the reporter asked.
"I'm a Red Wings fan" the little boy said proudly.
The reporter starts a new page in his notebook and writes.....
