curious.. why is the tiffy present when it never was?  is it supposed to be representing some other plane, or presented as a pacifier for the allied whiners?

Was there to start with Shanio. Wasn't whined in though some have worked on whining it out. Could care less either way, meself.

Havent heard anybody whine about them while I've been axis, although the couple of sorties that I flew the Tiffie made me realise all those guys flying Spits were in the wrong plane. :)

I dont mind "what if" scenarios as long as its not an excuse to pit the La7 against the 109E. Within reason, and all of them have been so far, they offer a way to have planes that rarely fight each other in the CT, like the Spit vs Niki this week.

I was just wondering what the justification was...  I mean if they *weren't* there, why are they?  It's not like it was there, but since we don't have it in the planeset, deal with it.

Its a "what if" setup, but I dont know why they added the Tiffie. All the other planes (or versions very close to them) were in the PAC except for the Tiffie. Having said that, I have not found them particilarly hard to beat, which is odd, since when I fly one, I cant imagine how you could get killed in one if you make even a half arsed attempt to stay alive.
