CD burners and MP3s
« on: April 07, 2004, 05:21:14 PM »
Ok got a plextor CD burner and here is the deal.
I take some MP3s and burn them as audio files onto a CD.

They play great in my wifes Nissan.
But In my fords they refuse to play at all?
Any ideas?

Make sure you convert the CD to be playable in all CD players.

I use Musicmatch to burn my CD's. Converts it for you.

Try fiddling with the disc at once and track at once settings.  If you're using CD-RW, try using CD-R.  Try burning at a lower speed.  Try a different brand of CD-R discs.  Try using different software or messing with different settings in your software.  The free version of realplayer will convert and burn music, so maybe give that a try.
