to unite Shia and Sunni in fight against common enemy

After you said Al Jazeera told you so I took your word for it.

Again not all Shi'a or even the majority of them supports Sadr.

Sunnis revolt now because the closer Iraq gets to self rule the more marginalized the Sunni's will be.

Sadr has been in open conflict with other Shi'a clerics. Sadr does not have wide Shi'a support.

Kubeisi, who himself is making a power play within the Sunni triangle, stands to gain the most from the uprising. He hopes to prevent the move to self-rule and increase his standing with the Sunni.

If you have an example of a joint Sunni/Shi'a coordinated attacks please be sure to site them. So far its mostly speculation based on "un-named sources".

Desperate Sunni gives aid to desperate Shi'a doesn’t = "freedom fighter".

Both Sadr and Kubeisi deny taking money from each other...

Mustafa Yaacoubi, a spokesman for Sadr, denied the reports that Sadr has received money from Kubeisi. He said the group raises its funds entirely from religious taxes and then, only from inside Iraq. Another spokesman, Adnan Shahmani, has put the taxes at $65,000 a month.

Taghlib Alusi, a spokesman for Kubeisi, who is currently in the United Arab Emirates, also denied that money had gone to Sadr. "There's no truth to it," he said. Sadr "has a lot of money. There's no need for Sheik Ahmed to give it to him."

My point don't get your hopes up....
