Iraqi Spies
« on: April 13, 2004, 03:04:08 AM »
"joined a spirited discussion about the need to take the fight to the enemy. They included a dentist, a prayer leader, a law student, a lieutenant colonel in the Iraqi police and a man who until 10 days earlier had traveled with U.S. troops as a member of the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps. "

Was reading this which was part of an article on recent events in Fallujah and makes one wonder how many of these Iraqi's that are working for the US are actually spies. Must be a huge number when you think about it and the amount of intelligence they are able to send back.

it is hard to say who are the spies, i guess with time they will slip up or be rat'd out. i was incharge of a iraqi civil defense corps battalion and we tried to do a back ground check at the VEO before we even considered them. with the way things are changing everyday who knows which soldiers were bought. its a damn shame.
