Ahmed Said Khadr's 14-year-old son, Karim, lies in the military hospital in Rawalpindi, shot in the spine in the same battle that killed his father. He is paralysed from the waist down. Maha would be happy if her children died the same way. "You know we are promised that we go to heaven," she says. Zaynab says, "I'd love to die like that. I'd love my daughter to die… even if [it is] simple, very simple, naïve," Maha says. .............
.................. Why does everybody say you killed an American soldier? Big deal.
On behalf of most Canadians I'm sure, I extend my deepest apologies to our American friends for this insulting and disgraceful situation. I would love to see a plebiscite on this issue, but the multicultural vote needy Liberal party that's been running a benevolent dictatorship here for longer then most remember, would never permit this to happen.
Although I spent 17 years serving my country and was awarded the "Canada Decoration", in the last two years I can honestly say I'm absolutely ashamed and embarrassed to admit I'm Canadian. To read some of the utter nonsense written by fellow Canadians here about the rights of these terrorists, lacks any common sense and simply flies in the face of any decency and respect for those Canadians that have died in the defense of our common interests to defeat terrorism. They sound like they've been written by some puerile academic who's been hiding in some teaching institution, or one who's saddled up to the trough of the Liberal government civil service far too long, with obviously little real world experience. I feel sorry for those kind of people, especially if the evil violence these 16th century backward bigots tend to breed ever comes knocking on their personal door.
The strange thing is I'm sure most believe the rhetoric they spout and nothing will ever change their viewpoint except personal tradgedy. If that were to occur, I'm sure they would honesty look stunned and wonder how and why it happened to them or their family.

Regards,
Badger
