Mars
As far as I'm concerned, this thread ended after I said "You say one thing and you do another". Anything we've said since is just banter. You were full of this Y&B/TAS flying methodology being better than anything anyone else does. "That's where the skills are", was your chest-thumping retort. What skills? I play AH because I enjoy flying a WW2 sim, a war game. Wars had strategy. If I just wanted to yank and bank and fight duels, I'd go to the DA. That's not my bag. I like using stealth and tactics. You pooh-pooh it all your like, but to paraphrase what you said earlier, I fly this game for me not for you.
But I get tired of hearing this
I'm superior because I'm a yank-n-banker claptrap. Great. You've learned to yank. Then you learned to bank. BUT..........................
.
... when I watch that film, I see that what you say and what you do are different. That's the reason for my initial posting.
Slapshot - I wouldn't recognise a church lady voice if I heard one!
Or, is it just a frame of reference and self-interpretation of the situation at a point in time ... in other words ... semantics.
Not another spin merchant! It is just a frame of reference and self-interpretation of the situation at a point in time ... in other words ... bollocks.
And now I'm going out to dinner. It is 20h00 which, in America is 8pm. Hehe, I can see why Mars gets 20 and 8 confused.

His altimeter is like a regular analog clock - the hands are in the same position for 8K as they would be for 20K!
