Anyone playing this?  I was given a copy yesterday.  Looks great.

Ya know, my thoughts have come full circle and have become a hypocrisy.

I used to hear people say "why would you want to simulate WW2?"

Now I find myself asking, "why would you want to simulate vietnam?"

It's official, I am a hypocrite.

My son and I play it.  Pretty fun.

Its fun as hell - but the lack of patch support from EA and the balancing issues plague an otherwise fun package in a dated engine.

ea released news that they were forthcoming in the next couple weeks with a patch that addressed issues with ATi cards as well as balancing out the m60/law issue

when i got it i thought i'd be hooked cuz of the flying and helis and stuff.. but in reality i really like the maps that are all deep jungle where you cant see a guy till hes right on top of you.

I thought it looked great until I bought Farcry.

What BFV lacks in single player Farcry more than compensates.  Beautiful gfx, awesome sound effects (BFV's sound sucks bigtime),

Farcry Multiplayer sucks, this is where BFV is the more fun, balance/gameplay issues aside BFV can be a blast though really its just BF42 all over again.

BF:V sucks a dick.  95% of the servers are stacked 70%/30% US/VC, and 80-100% of the queers on the US side use the noob-cannon combo.

You got that right Urchin, I rarely get to play on the US side, nowadays I don't even bother trying.

Still ... the US still loses alot of the time.

I dunno if balancing weapons etc is really gonna help...   too many wambos..

I haven't even tried online yet.

I find it much more challenging that 1942 and I love the music.

Not a game I think I'll play alot but it was given to me free.

I will play the VC or NVA in any case....it's a family thing.;)

Beat me to it.

(yes I hold a grudge. I still won't listen to 94.7 the Wave in LA cause they replaced KMET)
