OZ map

I do like the OZkansas map better than I thought I would but there are a fw things I would like to comment on.

1.)  6 hangers at a Vh is a bit much I think, I think 4 would be enough myself and I don't believe they stay down 15 minutes either and I wish someone would check to see what the setting is.

2.) I know this map is supposed to be quasi historical but the N. E. country currently held by the knits has bases that have an altitude (at least 3 of them) that nearly double anything the other 2 countries have.  A97 is a 10.k base, A77 is a 6.2 k base, and A19 is an 11.9k base. The highest I could find for the south was a base at 5.7k and for the NW I saw one that went 4.9 I believe. In the interest of parity if 1 side gets bases this high then all should get bases this high.

3) Too many CVs also either cut out some of the CVs or make the down time 45 minutes.

Overall it is a fairly interesting map even though I think it has more than one bug that needs to be worked out.

I would normaly agree with this but I wont here.

Here is why.

They are simple to sink. Grab a PT boat and torp the snot out of it.

Also, the fact that alot of the CV's here I beleive only have one escort ship makes for a wonderful CV vs. Land or CV vs. CV battle.

Heck, the other night I was vulched off my own CV there were so many enemy planes around us.

The funny thing was no one was trying to sink either of the two CV's. Both sides where engaged in an all out battle over nothing and it was fun.

I just want the ocean color on the clipboard changed. I can't read a darn thing about friendly bases with my old eyes. The light green friendly base info disappears in the light blue clipboard map.

MOSQ,
that can be fixed by going into Setup, then into Icon display.
There you will be able to manipulate all of the different icon colors both on the map and for the plane tags.

Its quite helpful.

Also MOSQ, you can change the size of the icons. This is true for both the clipboard and for the icons you see in your planes.

Hope that helps you

Morph...

I've done that. When I can read the icons on the map....can't see the fargin icons for the planes. Since the clipboard map no longer uses the colors from the terrain, I guess we need to be able to adjust the map and game icon colors seperately.
