I was out of town near D.C. all weekend and went to the new Smithsonian museum near Dulles Airport. Its a great facility, huge, and has some great aircraft as well as other things such as space capsules and missiles. It has the Enola Gay, completely assembled, as well as the only flying N1K2 in the world, the Ar234, and the Concorde to name just a few. Its not completely up full, and they are expecting the opening of the restoration hanger, where they will be building a few planes as well as a B24 (

).
I have pictures to come. If youre driving through the DC area, I suggest you stop and pay em a visit. Its free to get in, but you do have to pay for parking...
Anyways, just thought id let you all in on something new.
