Harpoon3???

Unfortunately no. You can play team online (capture the flag), ffa online and "scenario goal" team online. Players have been clamoring for two things in that game's forum - coop mode and an editor. I think if it gets both of those it'd be a serious contender with just about any WWII era FPS out there. As is, it's a rather entertaining (and engrossing) offline game that's somewhat amusing online (for awhile). And once you finish a career offline it leaves you hungry for mods (which players cant produce and the company hasn't ... so far).

It's not bad. I picked it up for $20 and I think it was worth it. It's probably cheaper now. The graphics look good to me. Most of the "kill effects" in the game look very realistic ... occasionally a body will "lay funny" or a head may stick in a wall or such. And you'll get guns that "fall upright and stay there teetering" but .. over all ... very nice. Well executed scripting and music makes it seem very cinematic.

The plot and missions are fairly intricate. Offline you'll have mission elements such as photographing an underground lab then blowing it up, meeting with resistance members, rescuing pilots, disguising yourself in a German uniform and infiltrating a castle, scuba diving into a stronghold and destroying the naval artillery there (a variation on "Guns of Navaronne") or putting magnetic mines on the keel of the Tirpitz then swimming over to a nearby minelayer and stealthily boarding it to steal an enigma device.

There's lots of weapons to select from stealthy ones like the Delisle carbine or silenced sten to heavy autos like the BAR. I was a bit disappointed that the only "HTH" option is using the dagger apparently.

Settings run the gamut from snow covered Norway to the deserts of North Africa to Burma to Urban fighting in Normandy ... even a Czech village later.

It's got a good engine and it has potential for more.

Like I said earlier ... not bad for the price.
