Microsoft has one called Microsoft Virtual PC. Runs about $130 and will require you to then install DOS. Can also run Windows 95 and up on it, OS/2 also I believe. I have it installed with DOS and Win98, works well.

or you can partition of a couple gigabytes of space and install dos and windows 95 or 98 on it and go from there...or if you have a old machine just install that harddrive on your new system...

You can also make a bootable CD or a boot disk.

Why do you need it?

XP has a command line interface if you want to just "geek" around; and XP also includes DOS compatability features.

While both MS virtual PC and VM ware (same product; actually) are very good solutions for specific purposes; remember that you need the extra horsepower for each virtual machine.

My work lap top (on which I'm writing this) can carry it's selve; a Windows 2003 domain controler; a Win 2003 exchange server plus 2 win XP clients in VM ware; but then it's a 2.2 gig machine with a gig of RAM; and while it all works for testing purposes; that configuaration hardly sets the performance bench marks alight.

What is it you're trying to do?

XP's compatibility features are a joke...i have never gotten ANY game to work with them EVER...command line is good for "geeking" around but from the looks of it hes trying to run a dos app or game or some-such...

it would be cheaper to buy a second hand 486 or early pentium to than microsoft virtual PC
