I've only been to Milan.  Loved it.  I'd go back in a heart-beat.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

Heh thankfully I didn't have that problem since I was so broke most of the time I had little other than for hotel money and food and  the odd museum.

BTW I got to see what looked like a Tornado flying low over Castelfranco trailing  a thick black smoke trail and a big arse growl awesome non the less.

Oh yes, they were probably Tornado's of 6° Stormo "Diavoli Rossi" (Red Devils) from the Ghedi airbase.
When you drive there they are used to bounch you at very low level ... ;)

"And one of the finest aircraft I ever flew was the Macchi C.205. Oh, beautiful. And here you had the perfect combination of italian styling and german engineering .... it really was a delight to fly ... and we did tests on it and were most impressed." - Captain Eric Brown
