skuzzy or anyone who can help,

     i'm 5x5 to all pilots, but i can't hear them. i'm using a logitech
headset i got with socom:u.s. navy seals. i hear all environment sounds (engines, battle sounds, etc. ) but i can not hear my fellow pilots. i have used this headset before in the main arena and it worked fine, but in the training arena, i can't hear other pilots. i tested all audio settings in windows and everthing seems good. ghosth tried to help me out, but recommended you when we couldn't figure it out. please help.
                                                                  thx, bigmike

If it works in all the arenas but the Training Arena, I would guess it is a firewall issue.  Simepl test, disable any firewall you might have running anf try it.  If it works, you found your culprit.
Of course, I am assuming a firewall is being used.  If not, let me know.

It depends on the software.  Please note I am assuming you have a firewall running.  If not then we need to look somewhere else.

BigMike

You need to keep looking & find all the settings possible for that headset.

Somewhere there should be documentation that should help you with  this.

Skuzzy, he's on cable modem going to a single machine. Don't think its a firewall problem. Possible, but I don't think thats it.

Taurus was saying last  night he had the same problem with his USB headset.

He eventually found and unchecked
"Digital Output Only" and Voila.

Bigmike you need to be looking for that.
Or perhaps a scrollbar that gives you a choice of audio devices.
