Bring Back the TBM...........

Bring Back the TBM............

I know htc is busy with AHII but the TBM is most needed by us fighter pilot types as a buffer between buffing and dogfighting.

Is the problem that bad, just make it so the aircraft can't climb to 25k or so then we wont have the exploit at 30k 600mph whatever...  I would rather have a limited (altitude) aircraft then no aircraft..

been about 3 months.......

Will a bribe expedite this matter

In the Battle for Leyte Gulf the TBF / TBM achieved one of its most notable successes by sinking (with 19 torpedo hits) the Japanese battleship Musashi, which at 67,000 tons was one of the two largest warships in the world (the other being her sister ship Yamato).  Later in the battle Avengers played an heroic and vital role  in the desperate defence of the US escort carrier group "Taffy 3" which unexpectedly came under surface attack from the main Japanese force off Samar.

Try the SBD-5, D3A1, Boston Mk III, Ju-87D or A-20G.

Mossie is not a bomber.  I will not impinge it's reputation by suggesting that it is.;)

tbm is hard to replace,,tbm has a few advantages over some of those planes,,,for one it carried more bombs than sbd,,,plus it carried rockets,,and carried more ammo and more guns

ju87 carries bigger bomb load,,but only up too 3 bombs at max,,no rockets,,better guns on tbm then stuka

boston mk3 cant turn as well as the tmb,,but its has great bomb load,,and is a great plane,,but it doesnt have rockets,,its more of a real bomber,,then a fighter bomber<~~even know it gets the job done

d3a1,,small bomb load,,guns are not as good,,and no rockets,,,and made of paper,,lol,,i think the tbm is a great plane,,and i do miss taking it and rounding up a few kills:)<~~hard to replace the usa work horse attack bomber with that selection

Why doesn't a bomb scored on the carrier from a dive cause damage at all?

I don't mean collective damage that after 10k it sinks.

I mean if a bomb were to drop mid deck, it would be hard to take off.

superb point    just like a bomb crater on a runway should hurt our wheels. and a bomb dropped on  a ship should do damge or at least put some of the ack out of use......tsk,tsk lol

but seriously, it must be hard enough to make a game this complex and multi tasking so we shouldnt complain really.
