And here`s a news flash for all you Clinton bashers.....he didn`t do anything that damn near every Pres did before him...he just got caught....And no one would have known about that if that fat ugly Linda Tripp had kept her piehole shut.If those oxygen thiefs that like to refer to themselves as journalists spent as much time on real news as they do on poking their nose into the personal lives of people we might get some decent, qualified Americans to run for public office.Unfortunatly the media and the opposition is more interested in muckracking than issues.
 Of course it is a lot easier to base a campaign on the faults of others than it is to base it on the qualifications of themselves.
 The only thing the "news" people are interested in is selling more advertising space and nothing sells better than sex and scandal.

Here's a scenario for ya, let's say that Bush Sr wins a second term, then Clinton wins following that. In his second term, the lewinsky thing happens and he lies to a grand jury, but still remains president. Now 9/11 happens, and seeming he tried to drum up support to do something about saddam before, he takes the same action as Bush jr is taking now. If you thought Bush was lying about WMD, how in God's name could you believe Clinton?

Let you or I lie to a grand jury, see what happens to us.

And what makes it even more stupid is all he had to do was tell the truth, he couldn't win a third term. But I guess truth and politicians don't mix.

Well WMD thing could be based on bad inbtelligence, certainly everyone in the US government thought Saddam had WMD. Do we even need to post quotes from people in both major parities? Or were they all lying to justify an invasion or the constant bombing and sancxtions aainst iraq up to the 2003 war?  Cuz If ur stance is that Bush lied about WMD then the whole US government and even the UN lied right up to the 20003 war..

However the Clinton Lewisnsky thing was an outright indisputable and deliberate lie under oath in fromt of a grand jury. Unless of course you are saying that Bill Clinton had bad intelligence as to who he was having sex with?

Now while I personally dont think Bill Clinton should have been put into a position where he would have to answer such questions, it was he who chose to lie and that was a crime and thats what got him into trouble.
