Truk Terrain

On 17 February 1944 and 29 April 1944, TF 58 (Vice Admiral Raymond A. Spruance), which included carriers and battleships, struck Japanese installations and shipping at Truk, in Operation HAILSTONE inflicting massive damage. Enemy air attacks in response succeed in only damaging carrier Intrepid (CV-11) with an aerial torpedo.  I have made a terrain of Truk lagoon to include all of the installations that were present during this strike and shipping that is both at anchor and in motion.  Also included are the Marshall Islands and a few others that were targets in the Central Pacific.  If anyone is interested I’ll send you the terrain and BMP file (Map size is 128) if you wish to change the default weather. Just send me your e-mail address.

I'd love to get a copy of this map, Goose. It looks really good. :)

e-mail is in the siggy.Thanks!

Looks like you had to do a bit of creative rearranging... I know that Wake is about 1000 km directly north of Kwajalein.

We all have a blind date with Destiny... and it looks like she's ordered the lobster.
