Ordinarily when I meet someone with the service record of John Kerry (and Ive met more than a few), I drop to my knees and grovel in his shadow. Its what Kerry did when he came back, and Im not bitter about it, its just that so much harm was done to his military service by his anti war stance that it totally negates and in fact subtracts from his heroics on the battle field. And yes! Bush is a goofy tard in my opinion, but he is running for re-election on 4 relatively successfull years experience as President, not for his supposed absence in Alabama whereas Kerry is running on his extreme liberal senate record and his military service, or disservice during and right after VNam.
Do not get me wrong, JKerry has every right to throw his medals, or someone elses, away as a protest. God be with him -but if he thinks he can run for president and gain some statute as a hero by throwing his medals away then he is sadly mistaken, in my view.
