places like TT are far worse, and seem to accentuate the problem more than others---frame on the comptuer I now have to use drops from high 20's to low teens, and the recognition of events going on around me seems to drop correspondingly.. it NEVER seems to notice some nmy tanks are there, thus rounds go thru like a screen door, no hit sprite. (And if ya take a tiger INTO tank town, ya get what you deserve)  There are enough gv model inconsistencies without tosing TT into the equation

ridenlow, GV modeling is not perfect in many aspects, even after the last major improvements, which came after a long time of complaining for other previous and just as annoying bugs and features (like the concessions needed for GVs rolling in environments intended for planes).
So what the others above said is true, don't worry about it, it doesn't happen all the time (unless your particular PC config is bugging), and it's easy to learn how and when it happens and how to deal with it.

yes:
you can improve your computer, the hardware setup, the software setup that are causing the bugs, if you show specifics of this in the hardware and software forum, you'll be replied the info you need.
or you can write better code, HTC might hire you.

lag issues
« Reply #20 on: April 07, 2004, 04:06:04 PM »
What you have to remember (with the onset of AH II) ... none of these BUG issues will be looked at or addressed in AH I. I am hopefull that HiTech has read all these GV issues such as this one (that have already been raised a million times) and has made the adjustments in AH II.

Above copied from someone else's note.

> My thoughts

I really hope this is not HTC philosophy and yet it seems to be. They have been working on AH2 since before I logged on a year and 3 months ago and they seemingly all but abandoned AH1 even before then. We see, experience, and read about the same problems and compalints and hear the same excuse time after time.  AH2!

Thing is we are the Dupes we have been left with less than stellar customer support as far as I am concerned because of a product under development and I really think HTC feels they have a monopoly and don't have to listen as long as the customer base stays at a certain level.

I wonder how this would go over in any other venue.

My Dad you too say "Wish in one hand and $^&* in the other and see which one fills up first."
If you are wishing for anything from HTC I'm afraid I know which hand would fill up first.

I hope Ford doesn't quit servicing my truck because a new one is under development.

Welp, if Ford had only 7 employees...odds are good that it would be. :)

I have been spending more and more time in gv's, just because i was getting burnt out/frustrated flying so figured i would take a break for awhile. I have noticed the same, but believe me somehow it evens out in the long run.
I finally worked up enough skill/courage/rage to get a tiger and my very first battle was against a spawn camping tank. What the person who cried for help never told me was that it was also a tiger! (gulps as he spawns in) I spawn in and there bigger than life sits this tiger with his gun pointed right at me! (mommy he screams) Being a never say die former marine i start to rotate my turent, BANG he gets in a shot, i took my time and aimed between his turent and hull, BANG i get my shot off just before his second shot. Wow still alive and no damage, poor spawn camper though, i killed his gun with that one shot! (jumps for joy and knocks himself out hitting ceiling of tank) After that it took me 2 more shots to finish him, one for motor kill and finally for destruction. By all rights i should have been dead but fate smiles on us poor newbs once in awhile. By the way we were only 150 to 200yds apart when this happened. Stick with it lady luck will smile on ya soon!!!!
