Do you have a complaint? Well before you post your whine about something consider these things first:
#1 - We don't now fly like the WWII pilots did and we never will, so our stats will NEVER be like the WWII stats. So quit comparing them!
#2 - We have nothing to loose, and we have TONS MORE PRACTICE so we are going to get more kills at greater distances with less ammo, and we are going to be better bombers/gunners, and we are going to try ridiculous moves in our planes cause we don't care if they crack up.
#3 - Before you complain that a plane/boat/tank has too much or not ehough of something take a look at your favorite and compare it with a real one....you'll find it lacking dozens of buttons/controls/and switches that you don't even have to worry about in this game. All those extra things were a lot more hassle and worry for the real pilots/drivers and could have meant the difference between life and death.
#4 - Considering #3 remember this is a game designed for ALL levels of virtual pilots...if you want total reality go buy a vintage plane
Don't get me wrong I think the extra challenges of more reality would be fun but the majority would find it too hard and unenjoyable.
#5 - Considering #4...HTC is not a non-profit organization. Total reality is bound to take a back seat when playability is at stake.
#6 - Plane/vehicle/ship/gun/ammo modeling can always be improved I'm sure. But if you want something improved..DON'T DEMAND IT. Have you ever built a game like this before with an incredibly small team like HTC?
#7 - Consider #6 and just imagine your boss/client/customer demanding you to increase your sales/perfomance/workload by 600% with no pay raise and then complaining when you only increase it by 200% and threaten to fire you.
#8 - If you feel you have a legitimate suggestion, ask nicely, post it to the appropriate board or email it when appropriate. Don't whine on about how unrealistic or unfair the game is. It's totally useless because while you are whining about it, every body else is looking at it as another challenge and saying "BRING IT ON!!!!"
#9 - This should have been #1 but oh well
Before you complain, do your homework. Go offline or in H2H and do some serious testing. I can't tell you the number of times I have read a complaint and then gone and tried numerous ways to duplicate it and I can't.
#10 - Take the plane/boat/tank you hate the most and you think is the most dweebish and use it exclusively for at leat 2 whole weeks (14 days) and I guarantee you you'll find it's big weaknesses. You may still hate it but at least you'll know how to beat it in battle and how to avoid letting it use it's strengths. (Hint HOGS have HUGE blind spots)
And remember...If life were fair we'd all be fairies!!!
