If not, lean back and enjoy. And be happy that AH isnt a real hardcore simulation. You would be very busy at take off. :)

I was surprised about how much is to do to bring the F4u up in the air.
Is that similar to german fighters?
 At least the FW190 was designed to simplify the handling as much as possible due to the short training time of the pilots at mid war and later.

I once saw a story of a downed P51 pilot who nicked a 190 and flew it to his own base!
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
