Having been in the service, I wonder just how much information his "peers" have. Now, if the majority of his crew came out against him, I would give that more credence.

I browsed through the SwiftVets forum. The discussions there are every bit as polarized as here.

Truth? I also wonder what Kerry's peers think of Dubya sitting in a school room reading about goats while there were hijacked aircraft flying around this country.

But there is TRUTH to the fact that he testified before congress in 1970s and LIED through his teeth about what he'd seen and done!

That's what upsets most of the vets.  Plus, I look at kerry back then and ask myself is that an officer I'd like to work for.  The answer...NO.

Kerry's command of the PCF boat lasted four months and ended shortly after he received his third Purple Heart. According to naval regulations at the time, any sailor who received three Purple Hearts could request a transfer out of the combat zone.
====
Wow, he served four months in combat then rotated out on some pitifully weak 3rd purple heart commendation?  He then goes back to WDC and calls his fellow sailors and soldiers rapists murderers and baby killers?  He then throws back his medals, or his buddies medals...or his buddy ribbons or his medals?

Kerry for President?  Yeah right.

Just another example in a long line of examples of how the democratic party consecrated under William Jerfferson Clinton
is damned.

19 of 23 are giving their opinions he is not fit but there is not one good 'reason' given throughout the entire article.. What are their 'reason' he is not fit?

With the same poll in mind, how hard do you guys think it would be to find similar circumstances surrounding Bush and the people he did (or did not) serve with? Do you guys not believe you could use the same poll against Bush and achieve the same results?

Com'on, strawman indeed..........

from CNSNEWS.com history ...

http://www.cnsnews.com/corporate/history.asp

Quote

The Cybercast News Service was launched on June 16, 1998 as a news source for individuals, news organizations and broadcasters who put a higher premium on balance than spin and seek news that’s ignored or under-reported as a result of media bias by omission.

Study after study by the Media Research Center, the parent organization of CNSNews.com, clearly demonstrate a liberal bias in many news outlets – bias by commission and bias by omission – that results in a frequent double-standard in editorial decisions on what constitutes "news."

In response to these shortcomings , MRC Chairman L. Brent Bozell III founded CNSNews.com in an effort to provide an alternative news source that would cover stories that are subject to  the bias of omission and report on other news subject to bias by commission.

Experience learn that sources of information pretending to be unbiased are more biased than anyone can imagine.

Credibility of the source : ZERO.

So what? The interesting part here is tomorrows press meeting, and that letter where almost everyone who was in contact with Kerry in Vietnam feels he is a bad choise for CiC. The source has got nothing to do with that.
