He's already out on bail.  I saw him around the neighborhood driving a older green camaro today.  That's the justice system at work.  He get's a 50,000 bail, and bonds out with 5,000.  He's an admitted drug-dealer, they should have known he had the money to get out.

Wouldn't it be nice if he thought less about cars and more about world peace?

It won't start working..

Bah.  Once you start spinning throw it in neutral, correct with proper steering input, straighten out, throw it back in the right gear and you're off.  It *looks* much harder than it is.

That's what you get for driving a ricer.  Somone had that quote in their sig.

Wife and I were watching the video (and shamelessly cheering for the bad guy) when she brought up that something in the engine reacts poorly to the spinout..ie, kills the engine. I've been in a couple of unintentional spins on the interstate and pulled a few doughnut in parking lots, but never had my engine die in the process. I think she's batty but she insists she "heard it somewhere". Can you auto experts settle it for us?

Moose, assuming it was automatic OR that the driver shifts to neutral, is there any reason for an engine to stall when the car spins?

Not at all VOR.  The only thing that would cause the engine to stall is if the wheels are trying to spin backwards while you're in a forward gear, and with an automatic even that won't do it most of the time.
