I wish the Trans-Am races would get more broadcast TV exposure.  And the CART financial situation isn't helping, either.  Personally, I'm sold on the ALMS racing, where there's a blend of prototypes and highly-mod'd production vehicles.  I just wish more manufacturers would support the GT teams.  As it is, its Porsche, Porsche, Porsche and more Porsche, and maybe a token Ferrari.  Nissan would be a prime candidate to join the GT ranks.

about the late braking...
« Reply #31 on: May 06, 2004, 10:00:50 AM »
IMO even on the new Tracks more overtaking is only possible
if they change the F1 brakes. With todays brakes, powering a
straight with 300km/h and brakeing 70m before entering the hairpin,
is just insane. There is just not enough Room left for the overtaker.
Change the 70m to 300m, let the driver brake much earlier and we
maybe see more wheel 2 wheel races and brakings!

*sure, the above statement will only work if M.Schumacher retire ;)

Had no idea you were a senna fan. What about Prost? Prost was awsome as well, just that senna is a legend cas he passed away. Anyways I dont think F1 is boring these days. Its still has alot of action and entertainment value though I agree on the braking issue.
