Stuka is the most overrated AC of WWII....

Completely pointless addition to AH unless a RPS is implemented (or it's added along with a full BoB planeset for a scenario or something.)

Total sitting ducks in the arena. People would fly 'em for 2-3 days after they came out and afterwards they'd make Mc 202s look popular.

Overrated because they suck solo. Send up three or four with an escort of 5 or 6 quick fighters and you could really wreak some havoc on those poor bastids on the ground.

Stuka would probably be fine for hopping in and attacking those GV's approaching the base you took off from.  (if u had some time to get alt)

If there is a coordinated attack on your base consisting of AC and ground units the Stuka would probably do ok as well.  OR at least it would sucker the enema fighters down, greedily looking for an easy kill.  With the Stuka's tight turn radius I'd imagine the survivability in close to your own base with fighter support wouldn't be all bad.

AKSeaWulfe,
In the summer of '40 the British had no problem slaughtering them regardless of how they were escorted.

The problem with the Stuka is that it has a max speed of 220mph, has no armor for the crew and is extremely lightly built.

They would get hacked out of the sky in droves and no escort will save them.  It might make the Stuka's killer pay, but that doesn't do the Stuka much good.
I have nailed a C-47 that was escorted by P-51s when I was in a Zero.  The P-51s couldn't even make me pay for that.

If we want a dedicated ground attack aircraft that will actually get used we need to be asking for an Il2-3M or an Il-10.  I know they don't have the "coolness" of being Luftwaffe aircraft, but they were actually effective in the face of competent opposition.
If we MUST have a Luftwaffe aircraft, I would suggest focusing on the Henshel Hs129.

Im for any addition of early war/BoB planes!
Bring em on , Ill fly em and wont care to be outclassed. When I was in WB hardly anyone flew 109E , but I flew it all the time and managed enough kills to keep me more than happy. Not to mention the Hurricanes, P40's hell even the Iron Dog. I for one would fly the Stuka.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Hi

Replicant 109 can fire all weapons together.
The KG13B control stick had seperate firing ability for both MG and cannon. The MGs were fired by the "flip lever" when it was flipped forward over the edge of the stick, if it was flipped back flat on top of stick then it was in safety.
The cannon had a dedicated button on the top of the stick. The MG lever in safety mode did cover the cannon button, so it seems it might have acted as a safety for both weapons.

Flip lever back- weapons in safety
Flip lever forward- fire MG by pressing on lever with index finger, fire cannon by pressing button with thumb

thanks GRUNHERZ

Selectable cannons....

Ok are you asking for the ability to fire just gondolas and not the main cannon?  One set of cannon on a 190 and not the other?

We already can fire MG's or cannon, or both now..  unless you are asking for what I mentioned above I just don't get it....

I want bodies If I blow up a ship I want to see floating bodies likewise If I blow up a building I want to see bodys hurled thru the air smoldering and then landing with a thud .

In the Fw 190 with 4*20mm the pilot could select to fire the outboard pair seperate from the other 2 inboard pair.
