beta 28 - FM quirk ?
« on: May 08, 2004, 07:58:49 PM »
the near stall behavior is strange in some planes.

I can't make a film, but try this:
I took an La7. right after takeoff I put it into a right turn with full right rudder, trying to make the tightest circle I could. some throttle managment is needed.

The plane can be flown in EXTREMELY tight circles, very stable, in 100mph or slightly less. with two notches of flaps you can almost fly around the rim of the hangars batch.

I tried the same in AHI and the plane sinks or looses stability even before it reaches 100 mph.

other planes show somewhat simmilar behavior but not as extreme.

can someone try this and see if it's just my feeling or is it really strange?

just to double check, are you sure stall limiter isn't enabled?
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
