Just an observation over the years (not that i look at guys pissing)
Tends to be guys that smoke and at that the older aged ones, How did i observe without looking you ask ??
Been in a pub and you look around n notice the gals err i mean the people n surroundings ??
Then as you go to relieve ya bladder some crettin comes in n starts dragging/scrowking (noises of someone straining to form a spit) then you hear the THUD as it hits into the urinal
You don't have to of looked to know wtf has just occured
Where i was born n lived for so long was a mining community estate, There you had the older retired miners walking along that thought nowt of straining a spit n spitting it onto the road
yuck
Guess with their past health n safety measures or lack of you may realise that their lungs are buggered n smoking was a norm so phlemm was a way of life to em
One dirty gitt i knew in his 50's thought nothing of leaving a damn trail of the wretched stuff all along the pavements wherever he went grrrrrrrr
Still does it to this day and i almost heave thinking of it
I save my spittle for the bog @ home or some tissue (at a very early stage of my life i realised this was the sensible choice).......
Ever spat as a kid n drooled it down ones top ?? not nice, I think this mentally stuck and edged me at an early age not to spit
If i have to spit in public i mean when no-one is around i use it as a target technique and A: check i am alone (saves a red face) B: mentally note next road drain C: check area again D: realease spittle precisely while continuing on my way
No mess left for the public, No red face as no-one sees (i hope)
Very rare but i have had to do this on occasion

Ohh and a larger groupage i would say are the hand-roll guys that don't use filters
