hints, tips, speeds?

trying to learn it this week

anyone use dual engine control? any benefit? can program X45 to control alternate engines but wonder if it is worth the time and hassle to learn..

Not sure about the throttles. Fly it with the combat trim off and use flaps alot. Watch the commpression, use the dive flaps and chop throttle when she starts to shake. Some guys just hit X to recover, I usually will chop throttle and trim it up. Not sure if that helps you much, Im not really that good in the thing but I do like her.:D

I think someone told me with the 38 if you use dual throttle controls you can make tighter turns with one engine at an idle state...  It works best at alts above I think he told me 25k.  If your looking for tips I would ask Ack Ack... I think I have seen him post that it is ride.

no fancy throtlle tricks.


I believe akak had dual but went back to the same stick i have.

I remember reading someone had set up their "micro-stick" thingie on the CH throttle to differential throttle. I set mine up like that, but I have yet to remember to use it while flying any twin engine plane so I cant tell you how well it works. :)
