It's a cluster bomb, but the submunitions wait until they are over a vehicle and then fire a penetrator straight down.  The penetrator can kill anything the enemy's got.

Now here's the fun part for the math geeks:

1 weapon = 40 smaller warheads
1 B-1 bomber = 30 weapons (roughly)
1 formation = 2 bombers

Grand total, 2400 individual targets.  Bad time to be an enemy convoy, eh?

yeah, these things are available in all kinds of sizes, and are badass.  They use combinations of heat, audio and visual sensors to pick out armor and go after them.  HEck I think you can even program them in advance to discriminate between armor and light vehicles.
Yeah, send your B1 supersonic and low, kicking those things out, or put 'em in an artillery shell, or a TACMS.  They're just not fair.
