Gotta say that after looking through about half their aquad for the past few tours, I don't think there is much to the vulching shade acounts.  2Shad4U is the only obvious one.  The rest of them just fly La-7s.

for example how many fighter sortie will suggest i dont play under it much and thats how it is high and attack sortie is main one i play under so keep inside your little virtual world and think what ya want but if you think i dont have skill you will go to DA!!!!!!!!!! and see what planes i flew and died in alot and then see if i have been flying them

I was only a N1k whoare in February, most of my kills are in 205, 190's, P38, Hogs.

Well see that's the problem. You are carping at the wrong people as far as who is dragging people thru the mud.  The people that did the shade vulching are  doing the dragging... of course they didn't consider that at the time, did they?

Let's use Spazz as an example.  Here's a guy who may very well have his stats thru skill and hard work but since members of his squad did what they did and a Squad-wide Email gave advice on how to get away w/ vulching shades, ostensibly condoning the act, doubt is cast on all members of the squad.  At least from all  those who care.  The guys that were actually perpetrating such gamey tardness really suffer no consequence. It's the "legit" guys in your squad that are harmed, such as it is.

Boy oh boy, I guess its time I say something before my squad members choke to death from further shoving their own feet down their own throats.
I did own up to this in a previous thread and take full responsibility for the situation (the thread was wiped out to due an idiot posting personal information about my squad) but apparently I am the only one in the damn squad willing to do that besides kj714 on these boards. The rest of my squad is to embarrased to be associated with any of it and I cannot say I blame them.

Here then is the truth as I know it:

A. We have had several ghost accounts for years, mostly just rotating two week trials within the squad. We used them only for spying out cvs in the past and as far as I know no one in my squad ever had 2 pcs on a network and the ability to self vulch. Lots of squads use spies, its part of the game and I wont even bother to defend that because I too could "out" some double accounts. Hell, I know a very respected Knight who will often fly to a V base with a heavy Jug and his own goon trailing behind him I think its funny as hell and Skuzzy assures me that having two paid accounts is in no way considered cheating.

B. Recently two of my newer squaddies added paid spy accounts on a permanent basis. I heard that they had upped "drones" for and I am quoting here...(cough) "gunnery practice" for another newer member who was having trouble getting kills. I was not particularly against this because I did not think it would get out of hand.

C. That same tour while attacking a Rook base I was killed by a low spit and was private messaged by my killer that "lol" I had just been shot down by a squaddie who invited me back for revenge. Caught up in the moment I then vulched his bellybutton several times laughing all the while on that sortie and one other.

D. Later that same tour I heard that 3 or 4 squaddies were racking up some serious kills on that account which prompted my e-mail about being "discrete" (laugh it up Steve) a word I have come to greatly regret saying.

E. The fallout from this situation has been embarrasing to a great extent and I am ashamed of my failure to immediately get a grip on the situation and put a stop to it. Rest assured their will be immediate changes to my squad roster the next time I am online. Besides those two sorties I have never participated in any activity that might be considered unethical and my fighter rank will prove that no matter how far back you virtual detectives want to dig.

F. I am sorry to have dragged my AW veterans and respected long time pilots thru this God awful bloody mess and I hereby apologize to anyone who gives a virtual damn, but especially to my remaining squaddies who have had to eat a ton of watermelon while I have been busy as hell with other things lately. (Ya know, work, girls, money, life, etc....)

I especially want to point out Ezee, Spazzter, Drgon, Wilby, Guano, KJ714, Duchess, HawkFD, Cobrakev, Warpy, mike1ao, and YardB for their patience waiting for me to address this situation.
