Nick Berg islamic terrorist wannabe?

Could it be?  Contacts with terror suspects in Oklahoma, running around in Iraq looking for "work"?

They say its just a coincidence but I wonder how long the legs are on this one.  Im still of the opinion he was operating with good intentions, or the whole thing could be a Bush smear campaign against the grief stricken outspoken father.

Lets see.

Bush smear campain?!

Don't know the facts but I would think that no matter what the father says Bush would just let it slide.

Even Bush isn't stupid enough to smear this guy unless it had some truth to it.

Agreed.

There were risks, he knew them, he rolled the dice, and it didn't work out for him.

Simple as that.  But I am sure the conspiracy theorists are having a field day with this one.

Ya....  I'll give Mr. Berg the benifit of the doubt

but, it is mighty strange for a guy to travel to iraq without a job lined up, get picked up by the Iraqi police and then end up being cool as a cucumber while on video as a hostage.  Then it turns out that he had a remote connection to a suspected terrorist.

BUT.. this reminds me of a story....

The husband of my bosses sister was questioned by the FBI years ago.  They suspected him of being the unabomber!  Turns out when the FBI searched a potential house of the bomber, this guys name and address was a on piece of paper under the bed.  He also fits the general discription.  He had no idea why his name was on that paper.

So anyways... coincedences DO happend....
