Anybody have data sheets for the 211 series?  I've never seen them so I don't even know if they are out there.

An aero eng

More than 68248 Jumo 211 engines were built, most used on Ju 87, Ju 88 and Heinkel He 111.

Man the 222 is what I would love to see, insane speeds for even the heaviest of planes down low.

Hi Pyro,

Well, here's some data that might be a start.

Hi Pyro,

>I was just looking for some basic data on engine settings and fuel consumption.

Maximum power settings:

Jumo 211B/D: 2400 rpm @ 1.35 ata
Jumo 211F/J: 2600 rpm @ 1.37 ata
Jumo 211N: 2600 rpm @ 1.42 ata

Specific consumption:

Jumo 211F: 205 g/PSh
Jumo 211N: 207 g/PSh

The Jumo 211F in the power graph I posted above seems to be actually more of a Jumo 211J with aftercooler since it develops 1420 HP climb & combat power. (The absolute values can be concluded from the Jumo 213 chart, which is for an early example with reduced rpm.)

All data from von Gersdorff et al.

Regards,

Henning (HoHun)

I have some numbers on about 4 models of the 211 from Wilkinson. Email me if you think that is useful.
