d3d9.dll was not found

I have downloaded Ah2 several times, each time I start the program I recieve the error message "This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found.  Re-installing this program may fix the problem".  I have found this dll file on the net and have downloaded it, but I do not know where to put it to make ah2 run correctly.  Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!!

Not to worry.  You need to download DirectX 9.  You need the whole package, not just the single dll file.  Just do a search for DirectX 9 and you can get it in no time.  I got the same error message first time I tried to run AH2.
