Bomber Calibration
« on: May 16, 2004, 07:57:41 AM »
I tried out the bomber calibration because there was a note that said we could practice ane this is what I found.

After pressing F6 to go into calibration mode I went to the nose gun to make a last minute correction then went back to the scope. After I went back in the scope I could not use the joystick to move the cross hairs on to target and hold. I decided to drop on the target as the crosshairs went over the target anyway and guess what? The bombs hit where I dropped them without my actually calibrating.

I only did this once and I am not sure if leaving to go to the nose gun for corrections might have played into this. I will check it out later since I don't have time this morning.

The graphics are really looking good. The terrain is much better on lighting now and if anything might be a little bit hazy like a fog, but this might be more realistic. I don't fly so I don't know.

Moto, the calibration is automatic for the time being, it says so in the MOTD when you just log on ;)
