tfswctrl.exe

Closed it and now I can get on. More experimenting to do but it's either a cowinkydink ( prolly is ) or I've found something.

WHASSUP WIT DAT ??

Are the you boys in Texas working on Saturday ??

Well..

I haven't a clue now, it's random. I closed the portal moniter, closed "the" program.

I can go in with EVERYTHING running and it will let me online, then it won't. Trim programs to a minimum and it will, or won't let me on. Fresh bootup worked once with everything running, second time it didn't, End it All cleanup worked once, not the second time..

I can duplicate a Golly-geen thing twice.

...throws up his hands and does something else besides beating his head against the wall..

..to be continued

It HAS to be at the AH end in the last releases. If was on our end we wouldn't be able to connect to AH1.

Well it was fun, I'll give it a go tomorrow after the scabs have set in :D

Nopoop, Batz

I was having the same problem.

Could log into AH1 but could not log into AH2. Kept getting a could not connect to host message.

Posted about it in the TOD forum.

Well, I can finally get into both arenas now. This is what I did.
Might be to drastic a move though.

I been running AH1 for a little over a year now, read the BBS about swapping settings folders over to AH2.

So I down loaded AH2B30 and copied my AH1 settings, sights, and sounds folders over to AH2. I couldnt log in to AH2, but I could AH1.

So I did another clean AH2 download and tryed to log in making no changes to the AH2 folders in the clean install. Nothing, same as before.

So I deleted AH1 and AH2 And did a clean install of both AH1 and AH2.
Set AH1 back to the way I had it before, Mitsu sounds, stick config, gunsights everything except head postions. Iam just resetting them as I go.

Then installed AH2 and transfered settings, sounds and sights to AH2, I will also adjust the headpositions in AH2 as I go along.

Well, now I can log into both AH1 and AH2 no problem.

Iam not well versed in computers so Iam not real sure why this worked for "me".
Maybe there was something that I added to my old AH1 file that was corrupting or interfering with AH2s Logon.

I did have alot of exported sounds and stuff that I have found over the internet over time and incorporated into AH1.

Anyway thats what I did, it was drastic but nothing I can't improve as time goes along.

Hope this helps you. Maybe it might lead SKUZZY or PYRO to a conflict BUG between the 2 platforms or it might be that I just got lucky.
