I've been working on a Finnish scenario map for a while now, as some of you might now. The work is nowhere near finished but I'll let you know once the first beta release version is available.
I used this map just to test the clouds. So if you get a hold of the terrain through the bush-radio, don't be frightened of the unfinished look.
There are 3 different cloud layers in this terrain, as well as some lonely clouds here and there. For example some high ones at 32k.
Some of the cloud layers are real framerate hogs, but this setup can be considered a worst case scenario since I pretty much stuffed everything imaginable there.
I wish HTC would shed some light into this so we could have nice looking fps-friendly overcast layers. Pretty please?
